The most basic are the natural draft room heaters and boilers. These are simple, very reliable units, which require manual lighting. Maintenance and servicing can be carried out by the owner, thus reducing costs. Some of the room heaters also have the capability of supplying hot water for domestic use via a calorifier and also for a small radiator system.
The pressure jet diesel boilers are the product which takes technology a step further. These are fully controllable via room thermostats and heating timers. This means they offer fully automatic ignition and operation. These units can also offer frost guard protection for the boat vehicle or building.
The B-Tap pressure jet diesel boilers are similar to the units mentioned above, but also offer the same as a domestic combi system hot water on demand.
Blown air diesel heaters are another option Kuranda can supply for the heating of a boat or motor home. These units can provide up to 4 kW of heat output. This heat can be distributed using up to four ducted outlet vents. A panel offering thermostatic control a 31 day on-off timer and full diagnostics is also available for these blown air heaters.
Another very unique diesel heater Kuranda offer is a diesel ceramic cooking hob that can have an optional drop down blower lid fitted, this can provide up to 1.8 kW of blown heat. This unit is ideally suited for small boats, caravans, welfare units and motor homes.
