Diesel Cooking

There are two forms of diesel cooking equipment available from Kuranda. These product groups are very different, the only real similarity being they both cook food. The first are the natural draft diesel cook stoves these offer cooking and heating. They range in size from a unit suitable for a small boat up to a unit capable of cooking food for a crew on a ship. Optional integral water heating coils and back boilers are available for the heating of domestic hot water via a calorifier. These cook stoves are very simple in operation, they require manual lighting and can be serviced and maintained by the owner. The second method of diesel cooking offered is fully automated, touch button controlled system that only requires the operator to press a switch to start it and another to set the temperature. The diesel hobs are ceramic, so are easy to keep clean. These hobs can also be fitted with a blower lid to provide blown heat into the boat or vehicle (1.9kw). The ovens are fan assisted so offer fast and even heating of the food. The units have an L.E.D display to show the temperature.
