PICO is SIMARINE’s advanced battery monitor and the Real-Time Battery Health™ Algorithm for precise battery health measurements. It sets new standards for marine battery monitors in fields of design, functionality, connectivity, and ease of use.
PICO’s display unit is made of a sleek anodized aluminum casing and a thick Gorilla® Glass with Anti-Reflective coating protecting the optically bonded high-contrast 3.5 inch IPS LCD display. It’s water and dustproof and can be mounted both indoors and outdoors. The screen brightness is automatically adjusted with a light sensor. The device is operated by four water-tolerant CapSense® touch buttons. The (optional) barograph gives precise air-pressure readings, trends, and history.
The PICO simply connects to your shunts and tank modules very easily with simple push-fit connectors and is very straight forward to get started. The Free SIMARINE Android and iOS Apps are available to connect your PICO to your smartphone via Wi-Fi. The Apps allow you to monitor all battery and tank data, upload history, edit and restore settings and even upgrade the firmware with new features.
The SIMARINE range includes a comprehensive range of shunts and modules to connect with the PICO display unit.
Tank Module: The basic tank module – ST107 is a versatile module for monitoring tank and temperature sensors as well as battery voltage.
Equipped with four resistance inputs for resistance-type tank level (fuel, water, waste) or temperature sensors and three voltage inputs for voltage-type tanks sensors and battery voltages allows wide connection possibilities.
Shunt: The SC302T active combo shunt precisely monitors battery voltage on 12V, 24V, 48V, 60V and 72V systems, battery temperature and continuous currents up to 300A (400A peak) or the SC500 shunt can be used for up to 500A (600A peak). It’s suitable for maximal power of 3600W at 12V or 7200W at 24V. It is equipped with one additional battery voltage input (2 in total).
The integrated tank level module has 2 resistance-type inputs for monitoring tank level and temperature sensors. Additionally, the SC302T module can also be used for monitoring the current draw of heavy consumers like inverters, bow, and stern thrusters and anchor winches and current generated on generators like shore power chargers, solar panels, hydro- and wind generators. SC302T’s innovative protected architecture allows wiring in either negative (up to 72V) or positive (up to 24V) side.
For larger systems – the SCQ25T is a highly versatile and innovative combination of the shunt, tank interface, and voltage module.
Its highly innovative shunt module with four inputs for monitoring individual consumer and generator continuous currents up to 25A (35A peak) per input on 12V and 24V systems. Additionally, equipped with four resistance inputs for resistance-type tank level or temperature sensors and three voltage inputs for voltage-type tanks sensors and battery voltages allows wide connection possibilities. That is very convenient for monitoring smaller consumers like refrigerators or generators like solar, wind, hydro or shore power. The current channels can be combined for higher amperage, meaning the continuous currents on the combined channels up to 50A (70A peak) on 12V and 24V volts. SCQ25T’s innovative protected architecture allows wiring in either negative (low) or positive (high) side.
