VITRIFRIGO, was founded by Alceste Vitri in 1978. Initially it was orientated towards the production of minibars for the furnishing industry but in 1985, it introduced its own line of 12/24 V DC refrigerators and freezers for use in the nautical and transport sectors. Three years later, the company developed its own absorption minibars for hotels, manufacturing the cooling units directly in house. Production was later increased to include a complete range of three-way refrigerators for campers and caravans. Thanks to decades of market awareness and to the high level of product quality together with continuing research, Vitrifrigo is currently one of the few truly important companies on the world refrigeration scene, a fact which is also due to the company’s presence on the American market through Vitrifrigo America LLC.
